Can we just recap this?

I write a letter to David Karp addressing racism, sexism, anti-queer bullshit, and his support of it by consistently trying to silence us.

This white dude, thedocofthc, writes a passive aggressive post about how ~I’m not reblogging because there’s not any proof, and blah blah if she wants more reblogs, she should’ve written it this way…

He comes to my inbox and proceeds to spout the same bullshit.

I call him out on his privileged ass response.

He keeps insisting on messaging while simultaneously ignoring all that I say. And is very insistent on mentioning the reblogs as if the number is what I’m after.

I keep telling him to check his privilege, because it’s not like I haven’t had convos like this with other equally ig’nant white folks. That, and I can read his posts, I know what he’s getting at. I’m not stupid. :|

This goes on for a while.

Finally, a week after everything is done and over with, he messages me and tries to make me seem less credible with some “Justin Beiber reblogs have more notes than your letter” (lol), and accuses me of being judgmental, condescending, and racist. And then wants to get on me for not being objective about this whole thing. Let’s ignore the racist part because we all know why that’s not true. But you gonna keep coming here being privileged and racist, and passive aggressive, and expect me to be nice to you? You gonna say racist ass shit and then demand that I be objective? :|

So let me say this to any and all white folk who wanna come to me to talk about race without examining their own privilege when they get called out on problematic shit they said: Don’t expect me to be nice. This shit ain’t a game.
