Actually, she says that she’s aiming for a “ghetto Nancy Sinatra” aethetic. So I guess you could throw stereotyping in there too, because you already know what her idea of “ghetto” is. :|

OH. And let’s not forget the time she described herself as “Lolita got lost in the hood.” That was real cute.

Also, her real name is Elizabeth Woolridge Grant. And she’s white. But she renamed herself Lana del Rey, a Latina sounding name, to seem more exotic and because she just so happened to be in Miami, and surrounded by Cubans, and ~speaking a little Spanish with her Cuban friends~ :| So there’s the whole ~I am so exotic~ thing going on, too.

Really, she’s just a winner all around. :|

Also, she has a perpetual case of the duck lips, which just annoys the fuck out of me. But that’s neither here nor there.
