comfort zones

safe spaces

meehhhh

sometimes i wonder

if perhaps since safe spaces are practically unheard of for me unless im in solitude or w very select people in very select situations,

comfort zones are as close i could get

and so this urge to tell people they cant have a comfort zone, coz its *wrong*

bothers me

perhaps im conflating

or its just that

i dont ever get that far

and it feels like im being told i cant have anything safe or comfortable at all

and i dont like it

at all

some folks basically can afford to not have a comfort zone coz they have safe spaces

and so you can preach to them about that

but for folks w/o safe spaces and few comfort zones

a simple “expand your knowledge base” may do

leave me to my comfort

PLEASE

i dont get much of it

and id like to keep what slivers i get

I was thinking the same thing. I saw you reblog that picture earlier but I guess you deleted it before I could respond. But I was going to say the idea of telling someone they can’t have a comfort zone just skeeves me the fuck out, because it comes off as “You can’t have boundaries.” Why the fuck not? Comfort zones are boundaries, and everyone needs them.
