The fact that White queers think some namby-pamby wishy-washy protests at a motherfucking fast-food fried chicken joint equate to the immensity of the March on Washington. 

The fact that White queers deliberately erase the Black & Brown trans women who spearheaded the Stonewall Riots. 

The fact that White queers think the Civil Rights Movement was only for the liberation of Black Americans.

The fact that White queers know nothing about Bayard Rustin or Lorraine Hansberry and how they addressed the intersection of their Blackness with their queerness. 

The fact that White queers have the nerve to appropriate and find a ~kinship of oppreshun~ in the experiences of Black Americans while continuing to practice White Supremacy in the queer world. 

The fact that White queers are more concerned about marriage and “prettifying the queer image” rather than health/housing services for poor queer/trans youth (of color) and creating new art that celebrates our experiences.
