She is Her: Tumblr, Youtube, WorldStarHipHop and Facebook have taught me one thing.

A Black woman’s anger is worthy of a hit, regardless of the circumstances. It’s asking for it. It deserves it. It’s justified.

Let it turn out that bus driver did something to her and she was only reacting in the only way she knew how.

Just let it.

LET IT.

A white…

I thought it was more of an issue of a PERSON talking shit and not backing it up..

but yeah, okay.

We can turn this into a black woman’s issue,

That’s cool too.

Because this IS a Black woman issue. This isn’t the first time this shit has happened. This happens OFTEN. There was a video of a Black woman holding down a boyfriend who physically abused her, and she was crying, pinning him down with all she had, telling people to call the cops, and everyone passed it around and reblogged it laughing like it was a joke. Every time a Black woman gets angry, and then gets hit in response, the reply is the same: she deserved it. When it’s a white woman? Hell no the response is different. This is more than a woman issue. It’s not a person issue either. It’s a Black woman issue, and how dare you even try to be sarcastic right now. Jesus god, I am so fucking furious do you know what intersectionality is, or what? When this shit happens frequently to Black women? It is an issue, and what’s more, it’s a Black woman issue. Because if she’d been white, people would be saying, “What did the driver do to provoke her to such a state of anger?” But nobody is even THINKING about that now. If it’d been a white woman, him hitting her would be appalling. But with Black women, it’s business as usual, and that’s a god damn problem.
