Also, can I just say that “cultural/regional foods” just taste better when they’re made by someone of that culture, because you gonna know what you’re doing better than someone trying to imitate it. Like. I like Chipotle’s and frozen bag “Indian food” and China Buffet well enough but I’mma take the real deal over that any day, even if my ass gotta use the last dollar in my bank account to do so. I’mma be primly stuffing my broke ass face, I’ll tell you what.
Imitation is fine for leather and purses, but don’t fuck with my foods and try and play like it’s actual Thai when you’re a company founded by folk who done never left Cali in their lifetimes and grew up on tuna fish and potato salad.
